For works with three or more authors, the tool uses et al. in the parenthetical citation, following standard APA 7 conventions.
What the free converter can and cannot do
The free version provides unlimited basic parenthetical conversions. It is particularly useful when your references are already formatted correctly and you simply need the corresponding author–date citation.
It does not validate the original reference, resolve ambiguous author names or automatically add page numbers for quotations. More complex references may require manual checking.
